People are complex, multifaceted beings with opinions shaped by their unique perceptions of the world. To make sense of this complexity, we assign labels based on political beliefs, religion, or spirituality, often reducing individuals to "good" or "bad" without a deeper understanding of who they are at their core. In times of political controversy, we continue to divide ourselves instead of engaging in thoughtful, respectful conversations.
As polarization grows, social media amplifies hateful rhetoric and misinformation, fueling division and discouraging dialogue. In this episode, we explore ways to foster healthier conversations—ones rooted in compassion, empathy, understanding, and a shared desire for unity.
Routines, rituals, and traditions offer a sense of control over our lives. By creating predictable outcomes, we can more easily plan our days — and even our emotions — around them. Choosing joy and peace is much easier when life feels orderly and within our grasp. But what happens when chaos and uncertainty disrupt that sense of control? In this month's episode, we have an honest conversation about the challenge of staying rooted, grounded, joyful, and calm in the face of unexpected change. So sit back, relax, and enjoy; happy listening!

It's that time of year again: the time we give into yet another commercial holiday to buy new calendars, new planners, and gym memberships because we were finally permitted by the societal Gods to start over on the 1st of the year. Are you setting goals that are your own, or are you setting goals that seem like the things you SHOULD be doing to be successful in the eyes of society? For me, New Year's Day is a load of horse sh*t and typically yields goals that aren't sustainable or easily attainable. Naturally, because of this, we typically get discouraged, demotivated, and uninspired, and our once AMAZING "New Year New Me" goals are null and void. So, we tell ourselves we'll just try again next year when we're granted permission to start over again. As we start this new month, I encourage you to ask yourself how you want to feel instead of worrying about all the things you need to do and all the goals you need to hit. If you focus on how you WANT to feel, I’m sure you’ll be surprised as to how much your goals or resolutions may change as a result of reframing the thinking behind setting usually arbitrary goals based on societal norms of what’s successful and what’s not. Not sure how to do that? That's what this episode is for, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!
As we enter the holiday season, stress levels typically start to increase, emotions are heightened, and grief tends to feel heavier than usual. Instead of leaning into the busy hustle and bustle that comes with this time of year, it's important to incorporate rituals that help you stay grounded and present. In this month's episode, we'll discuss various ways to incorporate more self-care to enhance your physical and mental space while simultaneously learning how to let go, surrender, and trust the process.
There's always so much to look forward to in the future. Alternatively, once we begin thinking "When this happens in the future, I'll be happier," looking to the future becomes the means to escape the present. By projecting our thoughts to future versions of ourselves and future wants, versions that are by no means guaranteed, we are wasting away the only spec of time that is promised to us: the present moment (duh). Obviously, living in the moment is easier said and done, so this episode walks you through ways you can incorporate more patience and flexibility into your everyday life instead of getting lost and anxious in the "what if's" and "will be's." If you find yourself daydreaming about the future so much so that it's causing you to be impatient or have a hard time breaking out of your rigid routine in an attempt to have as much control over your day as humanly possible, then this episode is for you. So relax, get comfortable, and enjoy!
This month's episode discusses how interior design, mental health, and physical health are all related as well as the meaning and ethos behind moodysolace.
Life is the most beautiful mystery. But sometimes, you can't help but think "What the F*CK is the point?" As we grow older, our carefree child-like state eventually turns into debilitating anxiety as our mortality becomes more of a reality. What's the point of joy, happiness, and excitement if the end result always ends with despair? We're all thinking and experiencing the exact same thing, but we don't often have conversations with one another regarding these very human and common emotions. So how do we manage these emotions? I have no f*cking idea, but I think this conversation is a good place to start. Happy Listening!
Who are you? Are you happy with who you are or are you a version of yourself that you aren't proud of? Identity constructs are weird and strange, and too often we find ourselves chasing the identity of a person we think we should be instead of stepping into the person we'd authentically love to become. In this episode, we'll discuss ways you can try to tap into your deepest desires and wants in order to become the most expressive and authentic version of yourself. Time to throw social constructs and expectations in the mother fkn trash can, and time to step into the badass version of yourself that you've been doubting. Happy Listening, plebs!
I don't know about you, but I feel like I've been stuck in the same patterns and the same cycles for the last few years. Part of me welcomes change and applies necessary changes to my life, but another part of me stays where it's comfortable and familiar. But, growth does not come from comfortability. Growth happens when you discover new aspects of yourself by trying new hobbies, trying new foods, traveling, exploring your self-expression, and getting out of your comfort zone. That's cool and all, but where do you start? Well, that's what this episode is for. Time to change sh*t the f*ck up.
Society, social media, celebrities, movies, and shows all feed us constant images of perfection and happiness. We look at people through a screen wondering why our lives aren't as great as someone else's and wondering why everyone around us seems to be so happy without a flicker of anxiety or depression. The reality is, we're all struggling, but we all do a good f*cking job of hiding it because we've been conditioned to. In this episode, I open up about my most recent mental breakdowns and explain how I've managed to navigate some extremely dark thoughts. You're not alone, peeps. We'll get through this shitstorm together. Happy Listening!
Nostalgia can bring us comfort and peace, or it can bring emotions of longing for things we've lost in our lives. Most of us are either living and dwelling in the past wishing we could go back in time or looking to the future for hope. But, what about the moments in between? Social media is draining our batteries, our attention spans are diminishing, and we're unable to be here in this moment without reaching for a distraction to pull us out of those precious moments. So how the F*CK do you stay present while still dealing with life's bullsh*t?!? Let's find out.
Do you feel alive or are you just living and going through the motions? Are you getting out of your comfort zone and exploring new things that ignite your sense, or are you sticking with what's comfortable because it's what you know the best? Come on now, stop being boring. Let's have some fun. Happy Listening!
When was the last time you tapped into that child-like side of yourself and let your imagination run wild? When was the last time you allowed yourself to be creative and create something that you envisioned in your mind? As we grow older, we allow the serious side of ourselves to outshine our fun, free-spirited nature as a result of following the "normalized" grain of society. In this episode, we take it back to our inner roots and remind ourselves of what it's like to see life as exciting and full of possibilities just like a child. Enjoy!
