#16: Do you and your partner split expenses in an 'equitable' way? Meaning, does the higher income earner pay more?
In this episode, my partner of 2 years and I share how we manage money as a couple including, who pays for what, do we have joint bank accounts, does one pay more for 'fun' stuff and what happens when we have different POVs on spending?
We talk about the shame that can come up when 1 partner makes less than the other and the empathy required to have difficult money conversations.
In the second half of the episode, I throw some rapid fire audience questions at Edward, like:
I told Edward to be honest in this interview. And I'm not going to lie.... he took that to heart. (phew)
