#4: 'You can afford anything, but not everything' -Afford Anything Podcast.
By renting a room in a house for 4 years, I was able to repeatedly max out my IRA - even on 30k a year. What led me down that path? A monthly car payment that was MORE than what I was paying in rent.
This episode introduces the idea that we can and should challenge society's expectations of us. Need to get a roommate for a few months to free up some cash? Do it. Want to be a 1 car household for a year? The choice is yours and the options are limitless. Enjoy the show!
