Shahida M. Mohamed began her career in the field of education and then progressed into education Management and human resources. Being internationally active, her experience spans the private, governmental and non-governmental sectors with wide ranging experience in the United Nations representing various groups at the Human Rights Council.
She holds an Executive Master's in Advocacy in International Affairs and Policy Making from the Graduate Institute of Geneva, Switzerland and a Master's degree in International Business Administration from the University of Northumbria, UK, as well as a Professional Diploma in Education together with a Certificate in Educational Studies from the National Institute of Education, Singapore, and a Teachers Certificate from the Institute of Teachers Education in the Maldives.
