This week I have Kathryn Benko on the podcast as a guest. Kathryn and I connected through a podcasters group and quickly found that we have a lot in common! Kathryn is a first time Mama of a 6 month old little boy, a business owner, a wife and fitness enthusiast. Kathryn runs Sole Fitness out of her house as well as online. She is also the host of The Heart and Sole Podcast.
Today, Kathryn and I chat all about life as a business owner and a Mom. We touch on this expectation vs. reality as well as giving ourselves grace. It is SO easy to say that we need to give ourselves grace but actually doing it is the tricky part. Kathryn shares about the transition of becoming a new Mom while also figuring out maternity leave as a business owner and how she and her husband navigate both working from home with a little one.
Kathryn also shares more about her postpartum journey and the experience of trying to do some exercises that were once routine that are now a challenge as the body heals. I feel like lots of Mamas can relate to this; I know I could!
