48. Intentional Parenting (w/ Caley Kukla)
This week I have Caley Kukla on the podcast as a guest. Caley works with parents on intentional parenting. She has a background in education and uses it to support parents in learning about their child's development in order to support them in their moments of disregulation.
Caley breaks down our child's development and why the heck they are able to do one thing one day and unable to do it the next (hello getting dressed)! She shares how our response will directly impact our child's response when they are feeling disregulated and how we could better approach the situation. We touch on the power struggle- what it is and how to avoid it. Whether you are a new mama like myself, a toddler mom or mama of an older child, I know that you will be able to take at least one (likely more) piece of advice from this episode!
