Lauren owns Geriak Psychotherapy, a private practice in McLean, VA. She specializes in educating parents on emotional regulation and is incredibly passionate about normalizing the struggles of parenthood and helping parents find the joy of connecting with their kiddos at every age.

Her own motherhood journey was isolating and lonely and she shares openly and honestly, the struggles she had with anxiety and rage after the birth of her first baby.
Little did I know this episode would become such a great pitch for Mamistad Groups! Lauren helps us understand exactly why our groups are so important for us as new moms and how they really can help us navigate the newness of motherhood.
