Chuck McCanna, Principal at Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School, part of Broward County Public Schools in Florida, explains how the MacBook and iPod touch are being used for effective parent communication. Teachers and students use the MacBook to record student progress reports. These digital student conferences are put on an iPod touch and sent home to parents along with a parent form. School video newsletters are also created on the MacBook and put on an iPod touch that goes home to parents.
