This card will see the showdown between Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight (155 pound) championship, which was vacated after Islam Makhachev moved up to welterweight. It will be preceded by a flyweight (125 pound) championship fight between Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Kara-France.

Aidan also recaps UFC 316, which went down in New Jersey last month and saw Merab Dvalishvili defend his bantamweight (135 pound) championship against 'Suga Sean' O'Malley, and Kayla Harrison claim the womens bantamweight title from Julianna Pena. Before ending the podcast by discussing Amanda Nunes' return to take on Kayla Harrison for aforementioned title, and Dana White announcing Jon Jones retirement at the UFC Baku press conference, meaning Tom Aspinall is now the UFC Heavyweight Champion.
