31: ICW Jamie Arrigo - "The antidote to all this division is radical self-responsibility"

Welcome to a bit of a different vibe this episode... I am in conversation with Jamie Arrigo, photographer and founder of Wake Up High Five Community (a social club for rebellious creatives).

We get a bit more political than I normally would, looking at the craziness of the past few years, what we have been through as a global society (and I reveal a bit more about why I left the music industry) and how this has all affected the culture.

Jamie and I share an impassioned conversation about integrity, self abandonment (this has been a huge theme for us both in recent years), the importance of inner child work. Jamie shares how abuse has played out in her life and how it has shaped her healing journey to be able to have a better quality of life (starting with her mother wound)... and allowed her to immediately identify government abuse and overreach, empowering her to take her life in a whole new trajectory. Plus how radical self responsibility is the antidote to all this crazy divisiveness we are witnessing across the United States and globe.

We talk about being cycle breakers, the collective global awakening (and the collective and individual shadow), the fact that all of this darkness MUST come to the light for us to be able to face it and integrate it... plus we tackle cancel culture as a cultural contagion. Jamie shares her experience of being cancelled from her California life and how it's taught her that we have to surrender to the fact that some people are in a very different life experience than others and it's simply their journey (and not for us to force or judge!).
