In this second part, we discuss the morality and intentions behind some of the top players in the streaming space - are Spotify and Apple Music really trying to get us to listen to music we like or do they have more sinister, commercial reasons behind their algorithms? We also wonder whether creators will try to 'game' the algorithm and produce music that fares favourably with how the recommendation algorithm picks the tunes for its users.
