👉🏼Today I want to talk about the journey of healing. Little did I know about that subject when I was younger, and I really wish I knew about it sooner. I think it’s one of the most important subjects we should actually talk about in school, we are all concerned and impacted. We all carry traumas coming from our youth and transmitted by our parents or entourage when we were very young. These traumas get to hide in our subconscious until they decide to face out and take different appearances. In my case, it was anxiety, panic attacks, and a lack of dealing with my emotions.
👉🏼Here is why I choose to heal. ✨
Hurt people hurt people, we can not keep validating our unkind words or our actions because of our history or our past traumas. We are all hurt or have been hurt, but we don’t have to pass it on to others. If you are hurt you don’t have to pass on your pain, We can choose to heal before we hurt someone else instead of repeating our pattern over and over again.
We can choose to heal because It doesn’t define what we do or who we are. The process will never be harder than hurting someone that you love or losing someone you love because you haven’t tried to heal.
It’s never too late to start the process of healing no matter how long ago it was, how deep it was, or how painful it was.
Here are some tips that helps me in my journey of healing:
Nobody is perfect, the healing process takes time and is not always shiny as we can see on social media. It takes a lot of resilience, self-seeking, and patience in order to see changes.
If i can do it, so can you 🥰
