It is with great joy that I introduce Julie! She brings a wealth of experience and passion in everything she does. In this episode she imparts incredible insights for parents and supporting family members at all stages of the journey!
Julie Behnken, the owner of "Starsong Postpartum and Beyond," believes that we can change the world through parenting our children and is no stranger when it comes to raising healthy, thriving children who embody their true selves.
As a certified Early Childhood specialist with a Master's in women's studies, she combines Waldorf-inspired parenting with Human Design to help new parents consciously prepare for parenthood and meet their child’s unique needs.
She owned and operated a home child care program for over a decade and has 20 years of her own parenting skills, so she has a deep understanding of caring for little humans to help them grow from a solid foundation.
Residing near scenic Boulder, Colorado with her partner, she is taking time to enjoy the simple joys in life like decadent dark chocolate and learning about homesteading.

It is with great joy that I introduce Tracy, an incredible soul who is providing much needed support to parents and their children who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. During our incredible podcast together she shares her incredible insights around parenting 2SLGBTQIA+ at every stage of the journey and how we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment both at home and in the school system for 2SLGBTQIA+ children. We also go deep into self love and conscious motherhood. You definitely don't want to miss this incredible conversation - whether you have 2SLGBTQIA+ children or not!
Here's a little bit more about who Tracy is: Tracy Whitmore embarked on a transformative journey from being a young Mum to forging a career in Social Work. Her path led her to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, where her impact extended beyond these young individuals themselves.
An influx of parents seeking guidance and solace found their way to her as well. Relocating from Australia to Canada marked a pivotal moment, as she seized the opportunity to establish her own business, created around this very mission.
With over 16 years of experience, Tracy offers therapeutic counselling and coaching to 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and their families across Canada, Australia and the United States. She helps parents support queer children and guide 2SLGBTQ+ adults to heal, find inner strength, and embrace their authentic selves. Tracy provides a space for deep healing and growth for those ready for this transformative journey.
Tracy has recently published her first book, titled "It’s About You Too: Reducing the Overwhelm for Parents of LGBTQ+ Kids." You can find it here

What a complete and utter honour to meet Arya and hear her journey of navigating the unknown as she adopted two children that later developed special needs. Her journey of turning her pain into purpose, healing and awakening is nothing short of remarkable. Arya Harris Keller has a BA (Hon) from the University of Toronto. She considered a career in academia but chose to marry and become an adoptive mom to two children instead.
Her son has a learning disability and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Her daughter has Reactive Attachment Disorder. Like most special needs parents, she has dedicated significant time – years – to researching and understanding her kids’ issues, making her an unofficial expert of sorts.
Arya also has a lifelong interest in spirituality and personal development. After a spiritual awakening, she found some amazing and profound teachers, who set her on the path of yoga, Enlightenment Intensives and Mind Clearing. She loves how Mind Clearing has a foundation in deep spiritual truth, but it remains secular, practical, and relevant to everyday life. She originally studied Mind Clearing to be a better mom, but she found a lifeline and her passion in this transformational work.
After 20 years of marriage Arya divorced her husband and started over. She eventually remarried and immigrated to the USA. For the last 10 years she has been giving and receiving Mind Clearing sessions regularly while raising her family. She believes that behind every good Clearer is a good Clearer. She walks her talk, and it is her sacred honor to support other special needs moms on their own journeys of healing and self-discovery.
