We have invited Wei Yu, a current Singapore National Women’s Beach Volleyball team member and SportSG ambassador. Along with her team, Wei Yu has represented Singapore to compete and win in 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, South-east Asian Beach Volleyball Championship and Philippines BVR on tour which she got 1st place.

A little background of Wei Yu:

Wei Yu has been playing Indoor Volleyball for 13 years and 8 years for Beach Volleyball. She has been competing in school teams and on international level ever since. She is presently a member of the Singapore National Beach Volleyball team and has participated in several major games which includes the Commonwealth Games and South East Asian Beach Volleyball Championship etc. She is also a beach volleyball coach who teaches all levels of players in Singapore.

‘Be comfortable with being uncomfortable.’, is Wei Yu’s motto in life.
