Late diagnosis and/or awareness of what ADHD looks like in women is common due to the stark contrast in what it looks like in men and boys. This episode brings awareness to what how this presents. When it comes to advocating, knowledge, understanding, and proper communication is key. Another layer is that something else may have been diagnosed-but it may not be the underlying issue.
