Episode 2 — Jacqueline Gallo

Host Michael Carroll talks with Jacqueline Gallo about how applying mindfulness at work helps weather change, make tough leadership decisions, and even see around corners.

Jacqueline Gallo, is Chief Operating Officer of Whitcraft Group, a manufacturer of aircraft engine components. The company prioritizes innovation and continuous improvement through the practice of Kaizen and other business philosophies that put people first. Jacquie is also a long-time meditator, board chair and president of Profound Treasury Dharma Foundation, and a leader in prison reform.

Stay tuned to hear Jacquie and Michael talk about Whitcraft's highly successful prison work release program.

Michael and Jacquie have both spent many years studying Buddhism, and they occasionally use some terms that might be unfamiliar:

Maitri — benevolence, loving-kindness, friendliness, good will, and active interest in others

Kaizen — continuous improvement
