Nhakia Outland (she/her/hers) is the founder of Prevention Meets Fashion Inc. She is a Black, queer, mother of three. She is a social worker, sex educator, sex therapist and adjunct professor at several schools of social work. She has an extensive background in direct service, training and speaking, advocacy, consulting and community organizing. Nhakia is passionate about finding creative and innovative ways to engage Black, LGBTQIA+ communities. Nhakia’s work focuses on the intersection of fashion, sexual health and reproductive health through a model she created called F.A.C.E (fashion, advocacy, community and education).
