Practicing gratitude and expressing appreciation is a great way to move closer towards your true self. Learning to appreciate the gifts you already have in your life and expressing gratitude for those gifts you have yet to receive can completely change the tone of your day. Many of us are so wrapped up in trying to get ahead that we forget that we can choose to be happy and grateful NOW. We can take time out of our day to smell a flower or appreciate a happy moment. We can call a friend or sit with a cup of tea. We can be grateful for those things we have already been blessed with. What you have already is priceless. You are the miracle.
