From Surviving to Thriving with Dave Hunt
What if joy wasn’t just a feeling, but a healing force? In this powerful episode of Mind Your Soul, I sit down with Dave Hunt, whose story will challenge everything you think you know about trauma, healing, and the human spirit.
At just 13, Dave was diagnosed with an “inoperable” grade 3 brain stem tumor. After emergency surgery, he fell into a coma, waking up weeks later paralyzed and unable to speak, told he would never recover. But he did more than recover. He thrived.
Dave shares how he tapped into the power of presence, the frequency of love, and how joy, a deeply energetic and neurological force, became the secret weapon in his healing.
We explore:Dave’s out-of-body experience during his coma
Why being present isn’t just spiritual, it’s neurological
How joy creates adrenaline and serotonin, fueling the body’s healing
What it means to believe in yourself, no matter how broken you feel
How to set goals and dream big, even after trauma
This isn’t just a story of recovery, it’s a story of awakening.
Joy is not optional. Joy is medicine
