Haute People has been nominated for Best Lifestyle Blog at the Jamaica Blog Awards in 2012 and Best Lifestyle Blog at the South Florida Blogger Awards in 2018 where she placed 2nd in the category and received an Award for Best Writing. The Blog's success also led to the release of The Haute Lifestyle Magazine which launched in December 2017.

Lorane has also covered New York Fashion Week Fall 2018 and 2019 in collaboration with New York-based Fashion Technology company, Fashion Mingle where she interviewed brands like Greta Constantine, Flying Solo, and Nolcha.
