Lex from The Peony podcast joins me for a special episode celebrating Black History Month! Melissa kicks off the show by introducing Dorothy Dandridge, the first black film star to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1955. Lex introduces Tina Bell, "The Godmother of Grunge" who was the lead singer and front woman of the Seattle-based band, Bam Bam.
