In September 2020, 17 year old Asia Cowell went missing from Norfolk, Virginia. Her body was discovered a couple weeks later, and now we have learned that she was murdered because she was the witness in a rape case. The sister of the rapist and her friends devised the plan to lure Asia to their house, where they kidnapped her, and killed her in the woods a short time later.

On Thanksgiving day, 22 year old Amethyst Killian was murdered outside of St. Louis, MO. Her murderer was identified as Damian Delgado, who met Killian on a TextNow app, and the two agreed to meet for "consensual sex". He then stabbed her to death her a block from her home.

Lucas Sloan Talley, a middle school teacher at the South Hills Middle School in Riverton, Utah has been arrested for kidnapping a student after he allegedly put her in a plastic container and wheeled her into his classroom for "privacy". He had been having inappropriate conversations with the victim for months leading up to the kidnapping, and over his years teaching he has had multiple incidences with students.
