Bio: With a deep voice as powerful as lightning, Brandon Castro has always been a voice for the truth despite the opposition. Castro graduated from Queens College in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in History & Political Science. As a student, Castro was a leader, an advocate, and a fighter. He actively fought to improve the lives of young men and women by advocating for self-improvement practices, the meaning of responsibility, and overall quality of life changes to boost students’ confidence and prepare them for the many obstacles life will bring. Despite being outnumbered most of his life, Castro is ready to continue speaking up and fighting to have a successful campaign for State Assembly. At 24, Castro’s candidacy is a statement against the same politicians playing politics with hard-working people’s lives. If Castro’s campaign proves anything, it is that all people, young and old, male or female, deserve a better alternative and dialogue to discuss issues that are important to the residents of Queens. Before 2024, Castro acquired many titles: Academic Senate Delegate, Career Development Chairman, University Student Senate Delegate, USS Scholarship Committee Chair, and more! He has never been afraid to stand out and speak up for his beliefs. With his strong character, stature, and voice, Brandon Castro is a prime candidate and will soon be Assemblymember for Assembly District 30 in Queens!
