We’re back! In this episode we cover A LOT of information.. but that’s okay because I will always break things down. We talk about how to start reading the word, why we should read it and what reading it does for our lives. We also talk about the importance of finding community in the church. Whether we find young moms, old moms or an older wiser Christian, having community is vital!
Below I made sure to include some of the things I talked about. Never forget to reach out if you want a more in depth explanation about what was discussed!

How to Pick a Church
It’s easy to tell people, “go to church” but many don’t really have an understanding of
what they should look for in a church. Here are a few tips on how to find the right church
for you:
- Pray about it. Ask the Lord to lead you to the right place. Go to a place where you believe you are called!
- Check to see what churches are in your community. Check out their websites,
livestreams.
- Research what they believe to ensure they teach you according to the Bible.
- Make a list of what’s important to you. (Ex: Children’s ministry, Young Adult
ministry, small groups, etc.)
- Then test it out!
Questions
-What are you looking for in a church? If you’re not looking, what are some things
that keep you at your church? Ex: you love the ministry for your children or you
have a great mentor!
-Do you have a church home? If so, what are some ways you build up others in
your church? Or what are some ways you would like to build up others?
-What are some ways that churches can support early mothers?
-Challenge: I want you to find another Christian mother for you to connect with.
Whether they are someone older or younger than you, establish a relationship
with them. It could be for you to mentor/encourage them, or it could be for them
to mentor/encourage you. Or find a mother that you can pray with once a week or study the Bible with.
