Technology may change. Fashion may change. Even society's values may change. But the one thing remains the same, even in as unusual a place as the space station Outpost MG-5, is that nothing is free. You've got to pay the bills somehow. And while the galaxy may be full of all sorts of exciting career paths, there'll always be someone who has to scrape the muck, hock the junk and hold it together when their idiot superiors screw things up big time.
