Ghosts of Mars is a 2001 sci-fi horror film directed by John Carpenter. Set on a partially terraformed Mars in the year 2176, the story follows a police team sent to a remote mining outpost to transport a dangerous prisoner, Desolation Williams (played by Ice Cube). However, they discover that the colony has been overrun by violent, possessed miners. These miners are under the influence of ancient Martian spirits awakened by a mining operation. The team must fight for survival against the possessed in a gritty, action-packed battle.
