Hillary Chesebe is a graduate engineer with over six years working in the renewable energy field building solutions around drones, microntroller based systems, commercial solar, solar powered cold rooms and e-mobility.
In this episode, we talk with Chesebe about his journey from doing a BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at University of Nairobi to working in the renewable energy space. We explore how he started defining his career path while in fourth year by networking and how this strategy helped him transition from university to industry. We also had a conversation on some of the challenges of being a fresh graduate and employers having high expectations of your skills, and how he handled filling this skills gap.
