We discuss the standings of the Metropolitan Divison and the NHL as a whole as well as where the Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, and New Jersey Devils stack up. We also debate who is the best young defender out of Quinn Hughes, Miro Heiskanen, Cale Makar, and Rasmus Dahlin. We finish off the episode with an interview from the Carolina Hurricanes Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Bill Burniston, in which we talk about how hockey players are different from other athletes.

We discuss how even though the Caps are in 1st in the division, the Canes are 6th, and the Devils are 8th, that in the NHL as a whole they are ranked 3rd, 11th, and 28th respectively. This demonstrates that the Metro is the closest and toughest division in the NHL right now.

We also discuss the pros and cons of Quinn Hughes, Miro Heiskanen, Cale Makar, and Rasmus Dahlin courtesy of a tweet by the NHL. Dan, Andrew, and Noah debate why Cale is more marketable than Quinn and why Miro is similar to Dougie Hamilton in a defensive style.

The interview clip with Bill Burniston is about how hockey is a "blue-collar sport played by white-collar athletes" which gives it a certain feel as well as culture.
