This week I had the pleasure of catching up with Elaine Harrigan who is currently the head teacher at Girvan Academy. Her inspirational work ethic and positive outlook shone through as we discussed her experiences when a school pupil herself as well as her current lockdown activities.

We talked about access to career advice and endless opportunities that young people now have with the amazing support of the school. We both agree “There are lots of different routes. There’s no one route that’s the right way, it’s whatever is right for you in your life at that time.”
