Athlete, Mom and Business Owner... Managing Life and Your Calendar with Jana Matlock
Jana and I had a wonderful chat this week as a busy mom of four kiddos, a business owner, part time social media manager and private basketball coach. Jana shared about her journey in basketball where she spent a significant amount of time jumping rope during practice because she lacked coordination and skillsets.... Fast forward to college when she played in the elite eight championship for her school. Jana is also the owner of Hummingbird Hems Boutique where she helps women of all shapes and sizes find clothes they'll love. Jana approaches life with grit and tenacity and she says, I start the day with a plan and a to do list. I want to be efficient and productive so when we're all together at night as a family, we can all have fun together. I loved hearing her story and was inspired by her wisdom!
