A Quarter Inch…THEN, it will be Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!
This is a grandmother story about alterations done on clothing. A quarter inch was always the standard for those individuals who were never happy with the initial fitting. There were many men and women who assigned my grandmother and extra layer of work. They left happily as they gave her more of a task to their garment. She happily looked at their article of clothing as it hung in the hallway. A quarter of an inch was so minuscule but they asked for the extra service. These people were told the task would be completed. They felt validated in how amazing the garment was after the quarter inch was altered and when my grandmother told them that they were right…a quarter inch made all the difference.
