Working from his studio in Frome, Art Director and Model Maker, Matt Rees, prides himself on taking a designers vision and bringing it to life through 3D modelling. Matt started his career working in-house, making architectural models, for renowned architect firms like Richard Rogers Partnership. He then moved to the South West in 2005, and set up his own business making models for local architects and working with theatre and opera set designers, creating 3D models of their designs. He later began an ongoing, collaborative partnership with designer, Misty Buckley, art directing her visions for large-scale music industry productions. Matt has created models of amazing productions for some of the biggest names in the opera world, along with sets for artists like Stormzy on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
