For Dr. Shannon Kuruvilla, building long-term relationships and making patients feel comfortable and heard is at the heart of her practice.
As a mom of two, she connects deeply with mommy makeover patients—she gets it. From breast augmentation to labiaplasty, she loves helping moms feel confident again. She’s also passionate about body contouring for patients who have lost significant weight and are ready for that final step to fully enjoy their transformation.
Beyond aesthetics, Dr. Kuruvilla improves the lives of migraine sufferers through migraine surgery, offering trigger site decompression. She discovered her passion for it during residency and has seen firsthand how life-changing it can be.
After six years of in-depth training at the University of Virginia, she’s back in her hometown of Houston, Texas, as a member of the team at Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery.
