He serves as the Chairman of Coliving Semkovo, where he is leading the transformation of a historic mountain resort in Semkovo, Bulgaria, into a 17,000 m² coliving space designed to support the future of remote work.
In 2016, Matthias co-founded Coworking Bansko, aiming to establish Bansko, Bulgaria, as a premier destination for digital nomads. His efforts have been instrumental in converting digital nomads into digital residents, thereby enriching the local community.
Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Matthias is a sought-after speaker and mentor at various technology, coworking, and startup events. He also organizes the annual Bansko Nomad Fest, a week-long celebration of the location-independent lifestyle that draws hundreds of participants each year.
