Since February's invasion of Ukraine, Russia's key gas customers in Europe have drawn up plans to rapidly end their reliance on Russian gas. This potentially offers major opportunities for top North African gas producer Algeria which is linked to Europe by three gas pipelines and is also a major LNG exporter. But with Algeria also notorious for bureaucratic inertia, can it capitalize?
