007. How to Be an Effective Peer Reviewer
Blinded peer review of manuscripts submitted for consideration to clinical, professional journals such as MEDSURG Nursing Journal is a crucial part of the publication process. Blinded peer review strengthens the content and quality of manuscripts, checks for clinical accuracy, and ultimately, seeks to provide nursing education to ensure patient safety. Manuscript reviewers have a great responsibility that provides integrity for the journal and professional satisfaction for reviewers.

In this episode, Dr. Lynne Connelly, the Research Editor of MEDSURG Nursing Journal, interviews Dr. Dottie Roberts, Editor of MEDSURG Nursing Journal, about the manuscript peer review process and how you can start on the road to becoming a manuscript peer reviewer for the journal.
