
Kapalbhati is a powerful breathing technique involving passive inhalation through the nose and active exhalation also through the nose. With each exhale, the belly button draws back toward the spine, creating a rhythmic, pumping motion in the abdomen.
This guided meditation includes three rounds of Kapalbhati, each followed by two types of breath retention:
External retention (Bahya Kumbhaka): After fully exhaling, the breath is held outside the body, with the lungs completely empty.
Internal retention (Antar Kumbhaka): A gentle sip of air is drawn in and directed up the spine, while attention and awareness rest in the center of the head, at the pineal gland.
This practice is designed to energize the body, clear the mind, and help you enter a deep meditative state.
