Episode 53: BEING IN THE FLOW MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE
Welcome to the SEEKING EUDAIMONIA podcast. BEING IN THE FLOW MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACEYou may have experienced a flow state at some point — that sense of fluidity between your body and mind, where you are totally absorbed by and deeply focused on something, beyond the point of distraction. Time feels like it has slowed down. Your senses are heightened. You are at one with the task at hand, as action and awareness sync to create an effortless momentum. Some people describe this feeling as being “in the zone.” This is the flow state and it’s accessible to everyone, whether you’re engaged in a physical activity, a creative pursuit, or even a simple day-to-day task. The flow mental state is generally less common during periods of relaxation and makes itself present during challenging and engaging activities. The best moments in our lives are not the passive, receptive, relaxing times… the best moments usually occur if a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.Meditation is a practise that can really make your life better. A practise that changes and improves your life in ways you might not expect. So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let yourself relax and let go.Enjoy this session.Joe-y BusuttilYOUTUBE :@MentalHealthSupportJoeBusuttilJoe Busuttil Website:www.equator-hypnotherapymelbourne.comMENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT Facebook group:https://www.facebook.com/equatortherapiesthe EUDAIMONIA connection Podcast Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/The-Eudaimonia-Connection-PodcastI am Joey Busuttil and after experiencing years in mental, physical and spiritual psychosis- I decided to re claimed my life by stepping into a quest to find EUDAIMONIA. Unlike our everyday concept of happiness, Eudaimonia is not a state of mind, nor is it simply the experience of joys and pleasures. Moreover, happiness is a subjective concept. ... Eudaimonia, in contrast, is meant as an objective standard of 'happiness,' based on what it means to live a human life well. When taken to the extreme, it can translate into the pursuit of pleasure and simply doing whatever you want that helps you attain this. Aristippus, for example, lived a life in pursuit of pleasure and did anything for the sake of sensual pleasure. With the word Eudaimonia in mind, we’re striving to do justice to our full human potential and to work in some small but key way towards the improvement of our species.Meditation is a practise that can really make your life better. A practise that changes and improves your life in ways you might not expect. So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let yourself relax and let go.This podcast offers practice to funding stillness and hopefully Eudaimonia.
