This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 Meditate means to muse, talk about, consider, meditate, sigh, sing. Our words have power (the power of life and death are in the tongue), but God‘s Word isn‘t just powerful, it‘s anointed. What if instead of speaking what we think about ourselves, we spoke God‘s Word over ourselves instead as a form of meditation? What if we personalized and prayed scripture as a form of daily meditation? Well, as God told Joshua, I believe that THEN you will make your way prosperous and THEN you shall have good success.

Day Four: Fasting for Healing
What if the answer to some of our most challenging health issues doesn't lie in what we eat, but in what we don't? Today we'll unveil the healing secrets of fasting. This is Cheree. Welcome to Meditating the Word. It's Day four of our 21 day fast. Today, we're going to talk about Fasting for Healing We'll look at an account of fasting in 2nd Samuel 12. ---- Disclaimers: Remember, fasting doesn't move God. Fasting moves us. It puts us in a position to receive from God.   I am not a medical professional, and nothing in this podcast should be taken as medical advice.  Please fast responsibly. If you have any underlying health issues or unhealthy relationship with food, do not fast. And if you are going on an extended fast, it's a good idea to check with your doctor first. ---- Father God,  I lift up to You those who are burdened with health issues. Your Word tells us that healing has already been provided. Isaiah 53:5 tells us by his wounds we are healed. And 1st Peter 2:24 puts it in past tense telling us by his wounds we have been healed. Jeremiah 30:17 tells us You will restore us to health and heal our wounds. Psalm 103:3 tells us you heal all our diseases.  Father, we humble ourselves before You, submitting our bodies a living sacrifice. And we place ourselves in a position to receive Your healing.  In our moments of pain and uncertainty, may we feel Your presence ever closer, as a source of strength and hope. Give us the courage to face each day, trusting in Your unwavering love and the promise of health. In moments of weakness and doubt, remind us all of the strength that comes from faith, the comfort found in community, and the healing power of Your unconditional love. May each soul in distress find restoration and wellness, not only in body but also in mind and spirit. Father, we place our trust and hope in You, knowing that nothing is impossible with You. In the name above all diseases and above all names, we pray,Amen ----- Thank you for joining me on Meditating The Word today. This is Cheree, reminding you that you are in my prayers. I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow.  Until next time, be blessed and be a blessing. ---- Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/richard-bodgers/earth-in-bloomLicense code: PKB2GOTPFQSZZFD7 Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/sonder-house/dreaming-elliott-jacquesLicense code: 5HBP1CI7GED7IEQD
