兒童靜觀: 想像放鬆法


意象法(Imagery)也是一個幫助孩子放鬆的方式。當我們在腦中想像一個讓我們開心的地方時 (像是你在你最喜歡的地方),身體也會開始產生你在那個開心的地方時會有的感覺──開心、愉快、放鬆的心情。父母請幫孩子找一個安靜不會被打擾的地方讓孩子坐下來,請孩子閉上眼睛,讓孩子在腦海中想像他在一個他很喜歡的地方 (e.g.可能是你們以前一起去過玩的某個樂園、某個公園、某個海邊…等等)。在做意象放鬆法時,請孩子想像各種細節───你現在跟誰在海邊?在海邊玩什麼呢?你在海邊聞到那些味道?聽到那些聲音?───讓孩子想像各種感覺 (視覺、嗅覺、味覺、聽覺、觸覺)。另外一種方式是由家長引導的意象法 (Guided Imagery)。一樣幫孩子找一個安靜不會被打擾的地方後,讓孩子坐下或是躺下閉上眼睛後,父母幫孩子敘說情境───譬如你告訴孩子,想像你現在在海邊,走在沙灘上,陽光很溫暖曬在你身上很舒服,你看著蔚藍的海水、聽著海浪的聲音,覺得非常的放鬆…等等,父母可以針對孩子的喜好創造會讓孩子感到開心的情境。
