坐著像青蛙: 像青蛙坐定

為什麼偏偏是「青蛙」呢?原來,是希望像青蛙一樣,能夠時時察覺周遭所發生的事情,卻亦能同時定靜地坐著,緩緩呼吸,將能量保持到需要的時候才迸發。小孩很自然就能保持正念,卻也隨著成長時周遭有意或無意間給予的壓力慢慢失去,需要重新練習活在當下,從動個不停的忙碌中找回身心的平靜、平衡。按書中指引,父母須先能呈現在場、理解並接納孩子的感受、想法與行為,引領孩子一同如實地體驗感官經驗,不帶評判,觀看、聆聽甚至品嘗,不用急著思考、反應,打開心胸專注觀察當下經歷的這一刻。面對煩惱,可練習暫停,再開始觀察想法,安撫自己的憂慮;學習仁慈,但不會任意遭受擺布,也覺察並接受自己的不仁慈,再選擇要繼續這樣或停止。最後,練習用意象完成渴望,即使是看似無法達到的情境,用有如內在電影院般的方式讓渴望視覺化,但也鼓勵孩子放下無法控制的事物,改變就有可能到來。
