We should have never let Akutsu do the Castor & Pollux. I can't say for certain that that's where it all began- I haven't done my homework like that. But it just makes sense. He did those two-faced robots, those Janus-headed little jerks, and it just gave him a taste for reversible two-identitied designs that... I'm sorry, they're bad!
