Jesus didn’t avoid the messy. He moved toward it. He wasn’t afraid of being guilty by association because He brought grace by association.
He shared meals with sinners, welcomed the outcasts, and called the unlikely. He saw potential where others saw problems. He didn’t wait for people to clean up before coming to Him. He invited them first, and transformation followed.
