The scene is set at the beginning of the end of Britney and Kevin’s marriage as we see Kevin prioritize his alleged new found fame over his wife and two very young children. Britney is slowly losing herself following the birth of her second child. Feeling more and more alone and abandoned by her family and her husband. She has nowhere to go but the company she finds in new friends, paparazzi, the clubs, and the studio. This all leads to the conception of what is now known as the pop Bible, Blackout. This is a very tough set of chapters and stories. But it’s this era specifically that proves the Power Britney has had all along. Remember this book club is OURS!
