Mixtape 20 -Songs that remind you of your parents
All good things come to a (temporary) end. Welcome to Season 2, Episode 10 of the Me and My Mixtape Podcast. The final Podcast and mixtape of the season. We are the podcast that creates and curates weekly 10 track mixtapes, with a new subject or mixtape topic each episode. Tasty as it comes. This week, the hosts Matt and Mark are joined by Welsh legend, podcaster, musician and lover of the mullet, Sean Smith (of The Blackout and S’appenin podcast) to create a mixtape based on Songs that Remind You Of Our Parents. Did this chat end up being deep and meaningful? Filled with beautiful stories and memories sweet enough to make you weep? Or did someone just call Paul Simon a fanny a bunch? Listen and find out. This may well be the finale to season 2, but if you are at 2000trees festival in July, we play The Word stage on Friday around 4pm ANDDDD we will return with Season 3, probably in September 2025. As well as the podcast, each week the actual mixtape (via Spotify) will also be released and made live, with all links available vie the podcast linktree. Come back next Friday for the next podcast and mixtape. Tunes for days. Please do enjoy this podcast, and if you have a spare moment, a like, subscribe maybe even a comment or rating would be incredibly brilliant.
