Episode 1: From Genesis to Obsession

Welcome to Me & Virgil: A Genesis Brother's Podcast Episode 1: From Genesis to Obsession. This is our introductory episode of sorts where we talk about why we're making this podcast, what we hope to get from making it, and what subjects we intend to cover about Genesis. We go into detail about how we each discovered the band, how our respective obsessions grew until the music took over our lives, and why now is the right time to make this podcast. We also have a drum bit where Dan aka "Me" talks about some unusual drumming on a particular Genesis song. And we end with why we decided to call this podcast Me & Virgil. References are made to specific websites and documentaries in the episode and they are linked below for your convenience:

In the episode we mention about a special documentary we saw before the Genesis Live Knebworth concert and you can find that documentary here.

Alex mentions hearing Tony say he was involved in every Genesis song, and that article can be found here.

The auction Alex mentions for the handwritten lyrics to "Me & Virgil" can be found here.

The bootleg of Genesis performing "Me & Virgil" live can be found here.

"Virgil" is Alex C. Telander.

"Me" is Daniel Telander.

This episode was edited and mixed by Daniel Telander.
