185. Liz (Chinook Crew Chick) McConaghy talks PTSD and Motivational Speaking

In this episode I had the pleasure to chat with Liz about her personal experience with mental health. Liz was the longest serving female crewman on the Royal Air Force Chinook Fleet spanning a 17 year career flying on the aircraft. But after her medical discharge in 2019 she struggled with the impact of PTSD and other life events. Thankfully one night when she was at her lowest point she made a phone call that saved her life. You can find out more about Liz, her work sharing her story to help others and order a copy of her book here: https://www.chinookcrewchick.co.uk/
