Additive Manufacturing is one of the fastest growing manufacturing technology in which interdisciplinary engineering is playing a very crucial role.
To have more discussion on the upcoming trends in Additive Manufacturing we have inviter Derek Shaffer, Research Scholar, Penn State University to discuss on basics of additive manufacturing, various techniques in AM such as SLS, FDM, Powder Bed Fusion Technique, how Additive Manufacturing is advantageous over conventional manufacturing techniques and various career opportunities in Additive Manufacturing.
Derek Shaffer also touched upon the Master’s Degree Program on Additive Manufacturing and Design offered by the Penn State University.
