In this episode, we have a conversation with Lampe Omoeyele, CEO of Nitro121. Prior to launching his marketing agency, Lampe held senior roles at a number global brands in companies like GlaxoSmithKline and Cadbury. Lampe walks us through his journey into marketing and advertising from an initial start in medicine and the sciences. The conversation also spans his growth in the industry and the various learnings he was able to pick up over the years. One highlight from this session is the anecdotal story Lampe shares about his time in Kenya, which exemplifies the importance of context and nuance in connecting with consumers. As a former brand manager and now CEO of a marketing agency, Lampe also speaks about “the agency of the future” and how the industry can begin to foster the next generation of talent.
