We will be discussing the classical text, ‘Explaining the Marvels of the Heart’, which is the twenty-first book of Imam al-Ghazali’s celebrated Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din. The Ihya’ is one of the classics of Islamic spirituality, and has endured the test of time for its perennial insights into the human condition. This course offering is part 1 of 3 and will be structured as a formal class.
